Founder's Log #8: We have momentum!

Published on: | by Uditha Atukorala

For the past couple of months we’ve been busy converting our proof of concepts into a minimum viable product.

We stepped into April after an eventful Q1. In Q1, we built proof of concepts and validated our ideas, closed an unexpected pre-seed round and even convinced a few early adopters to part ways with their hard earned cash.

But April was a frustrating month. It felk like nothing is happening and we are making no progress. Converting proof of concepts into an MVP was taking longer than expected. Vibe coding wasn’t helping to speed things up, and LLM-generated code had too many security oversights that needed fixing.

At the end of April we have made no visible progress.

In May things started getting better, hitting deadlines and seeing visual progress felt good! After the time we spent in April to build a solid foundation, progress came easily.

Towards the end of May we were pushing new features and updates almost every day, sometimes multiple times a day.

It feels like we’ve achieved a lot in May and have built up a good momentum!

But there’s still a sh*t ton of work left to do…
